AirAsia through it’s CEO, Datuk Tony Fernandes informed that they are going to fly to Haikou in China, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Hong Kong very soon. This indeed is a very good news to the budget travellers as more choices of destinations being offered.

AirAsia traffic resilient, says Fernandes

On the horizon, new destinations for AirAsia include Haikou in China, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong. While AirAsia already flies to Macau and Shenzhen, which also serves the Hong Kong market, “we want to fly everywhere,” according to Fernandes.

There were customers who wanted to fly directly into Hong Kong and were willing to pay a higher fare for that “but it’ll still be better value than the full service airlines,” he added.
