Change has come to the United States of America when Barack Obama beats John McCain and becomes the country’s first black president. The message is very clear and the message is they want CHANGE. Today, Americans are not voting for Democrats or Barack Obama. They voted for CHANGE. So, what will happen to us next?

Hopefully, more policy which benefits the peoples will be introduced by the new government team – Democrats. For many years, USA has been the big brother to others and whatever happens in USA will definitely has some effects on other countries. When their economy has gone down and going through financial crisis, many other countries around the world are receiving the backlash. Rescue packages worth billions of dollars has been announced by the countries affected in order to save their own economy and financial sector. So, can we hope for Barack Obama to initiate CHANGE in United States of America and will help to end the worst financial and economic crisis which we are facing right now?! YES, we can…CHANGE!!

Happy New Year 2008!!

There still many unsettled resolutions for 2007 which I will carry into 2008. Hopefully 2008 will bring more cheers and wealth into my family.

I think the river in both pictures is Klang River because these pictures were taken when the plane was flying over Klang, Selangor.

Its a wonderful scene to enjoy..Isn’t it?? You can see river, green areas, housing areas and sea…That shows Malaysia is a wonderful place to live.. I love Malaysia.

Erghhh!!..FOR YOUR SAFETY PLEASE READ THIS CARD. I did read the safety card during my flight from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur. What to do..? I have no choice when there’s no personal IFE for ECONOMY class passenger like me. I have been pampered by Emirates Airlines so much with their great IFE until I could not stand this 7 hours flight without IFE. Maybe next time, I should go for business class instead. So, while I have nothing to do, I just grabbed everything in front of me including this safety card which I have often ignored as my reading materials. Ohh I see…Now I know where’s the nearest exit door in case this Airbus A330 plunge into the sea.

P/S: I made a mistake!! It’s not an Airbus A320 when I mentioned in Breakfast With Malaysia Airlines. It’s an Airbus A330..

Another 3 hours to arrive KLIA, lunch was provided and it was better than the breakfast.It’s chicken briyani.. I love the chicken briyani. Again, I was acting like a judge for a cooking tournament. Heyy..No personal screen TV okayyy..I have to share the projector screen with others. My seat was windows seat and I did not want to hurt my neck by trying to watch that centralized screen okayy… But seriously, the briyani was very very nice.

In the end, I think I was the last person to hand over my tray to the stewardess. Eventhough without the PTV, I would still give Malaysia Airlines 5 stars for their service. Ermm..Maybe for the meals provided and also the beautiful and courteous flight attendants. The beautiful flight attendants look so gorgeous in that tight and sexy Kebaya. Next time, I will fly with Malaysia Airlines again.

There are a few travel blogs which I like to visit to get some ideas on what I want to write. One of them is a travel blog by realtravel.com. I like this blog because I can read a lot of travel experience from the real travelers who travel to many places all over the world. Travel blog like this will help me in giving a head start when I want to write my own travelogues because I am still a novice when it comes to writing. At the same time, I wish I have the money to do like what they do. Yes, I want to travel around the world.

In term of savings, I have saved a lot of money by using phone card. Maybe, I can buy a new iPhone soon with the savings.

3. Gregory Olsen (American): October 1 – October 11, 2005
4. Anousheh Ansari (Iranian / American): September 18 – September 29, 2006
5. Charles Simonyi (Hungarian / American): April 7 – April 21, 2007
6. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor (Malaysian): October 10 – October 21, 2007

and the list continue for future space tourist candidates :

1. Richard Garriott (United States). Expected to fly on Soyuz TMA-13 in 2008.
2. Santhosh George Kulangara, a business man from Kerala-India. Mr. Santhosh George would fly on board the Virgin Galactic’s Space Ship by mid 2008.
3. Daisuke Enomoto (Japan) – Internet entrepreneur, was expected to fly on Soyuz TMA-9 in September 2006, but was grounded for medical reasons, and replaced by Ansari.

Check this video of the latest expedition which carried Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, the first Malaysian to be in space. It’s great to see this.

In 2009, maybe my dream will be made possible by Virgin Galactic, a space tourism groups headed by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. $200,000 will be the initial price to fly with VSS Enterprise (Scaled Composites SpaceShipTwo) to go beyond the height of 100 km, which is the internationally defined boundary between Earth and space. Even though the experience would not be the same as the space travel to ISS, passengers would at least experience a few minutes of weightlessness, a view of a twinkle-free starfield, and a vista of the curved Earth below.

As for now, the ultimate dream of a person like me to be part of the travel to the space will only remain as a dream.
