Epson C67 Printer - Both light flashing red alternately

I have faced this problem last month with my Epson C67 printer. From the internet search, i found that it means the waste ink counter has reached the maximum print or life - 8000 prints. But the full pads that is suppose to be changed can actually lasts a thousand more prints before it actually needed to be replaced. So, I’m scratching my head to solve on how to reset the counter. After a long-long and tiring search from the net, I found a software which can help to reset the counter. I’ve tried SSC utility and it didn’t work out for C67. Maybe this C67 is still not supported in that software eventhough it is in the list.
For those who are looking for this C67 reset software, you can download from the download sections.
I’m giving the software for free but please register yourself first before downloading. It’s not that difficult at all to register.

I sent my computer to the shop and they said it was the mother board..bunch of idiots….
now i can use my printer…it is fine… i canuse it..i though i had to get rid of the printer and get a new one..

JD - Great to hear that.. But be ready to change the ink full pads soon. This time you have to bring the printer to the service center. Not expensive though comparing to the motherboard. Maybe they will only ask you to pay for the standard service charge only.

I already downloaded the C67 reset software but i can’t open it, I’m sorry but i don’t know how to do it. I don’t have lots of knowledge in using pc but i’ll try my best to solve this problem. I hope you can help me.

Reset Ink Counter/Level Canon iP1600
1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not,
press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal.

i’m still can’t reset my c67 printer even i use that software to reset my printer’s counter.It still flashing its lights.HELP ME!!!
