The Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board has revealed a partnership with the Singapore Airlines (SIA) to promote a special travel package for the residents of the UAE. The agreement is in conjunction with ‘Visit Malaysia 2007’ campaign which was launched earlier this year.
As part of the regional campaign by Malaysian Tourism Board to raise the tourism industry of the country, Singapore Airlines have introduced three special-designed holiday package of three days/two nights to exciting destinations in Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi at a very competitive prices starting from AED1,490. The airline is aiming to promote this special package of the holiday in Dubai from October to the November of 2007. The holiday package which offered by Singapore Airline is being tailor made specially to suit Dubai’s market.
A multi cultural Malaysia has attracted a lot of tourists from the Middle East over the last few years with more than 180,000 has been recorded in 2006.The numbers of tourists from the Middle East region is expected to increase to more than 300,000 in 2007.
